Forest management
Forest management is a set of activities that provide up-to-date information on forest resources (their location, status, quality and quantity), which are subsequently used as a basis for the design of various activities for conservation, protection, reproduction and sustainable management of forests.
Forest management is carried out on forest lands, on lands of defense and security, on specially protected natural territories and on land settlements.
Forest survey is key forest management activity. The results of Forest survey are necessary for:
- determination of the volume of wood removal (calculated felling rate)
- design of forest conservation activities that define the types and extent of interventions (such as сlean sanitation cuttings)
Timing of works
Forest management takes 2 years. Preparatory work is carried out in the first year. In the second year, field and office works are carried out and specialists prepare forestry documentation.What does the customer get?
